A4 Associates Consulting Engineers Limited has commenced the independent inspection and validation of 21 federal road projects being reconstructed under the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited's Federal Roads Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme (NNPC–FRITCS).
The engagement, valued at approximately ₦1.86 billion over a 24-month period, involves deploying multidisciplinary engineering teams across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones to carry out comprehensive condition assessments, progress validation, and quality assurance reviews on each road corridor.
The FRITCS programme allows eligible companies to use their tax obligations to fund critical road infrastructure projects across Nigeria. A4 Associates' role is to provide independent third-party verification that construction works meet design specifications, federal highway standards, and contractual requirements.
Our teams are conducting detailed pavement evaluations, drainage assessments, structural inspections of bridges and culverts, and geometric compliance checks. Each road is being assessed against its original engineering design and the Federal Ministry of Works' Highway Design Standards.
